- October 5, 2011 - Public Works and Government Services Canada released the Request for Proposal for Project Management and Engineering Support and Services under the Task-Based–Informatics Professional Services Supply Arrangement.
- March 24, 2011 - The Marine Security Operations Centre Project receives Treasury Board Effective Project Approval. Treasury Board's authority to initiate project implementation phase with the objective developing, testing and installing solution.
- October 29, 2009 – The Marine Security Operations Centre Project officially declares Initial Operational Capability #1.
- September 30, 2009 - The renovations to buildings housing Marine Security Operations Centre (West) completed.
- July 31, 2008 – The renovations to buildings housing Marine Security Operations Centre (East) completed.
- May 15, 2008 – The Marine Security Operations Centre Project Engineering Detachment officially opened in Halifax.
- March 31, 2008 - The Construction Prime Consultant Architect and Engineering contract with Smith Carter Architects and Engineers Incorporated closed.
- December 22, 2005 – The Construction Prime Consultant Architect and Engineering contract awarded to Smith Carter Architects and Engineers Incorporated.
- November 1, 2005 – The Project Office established.
- October 31, 2005 – The Marine Security Operations Centre Project receives Treasury Board Preliminary Project Approval. Treasury Board's authority to initiate a project in terms of its intended operational requirement, including approval of the objectives of the project definition phase and any associated expenditures.
